Dean Van Halen I agree...but also you have to remember. Salt on skin doesn't hurt, but that same amount of salt in an open wound burns. If someone is bullied day after day, and nothing happens to stop it (the kid doesn't seek help, adults don't step in etc.) yeah the kids will probably snap. Is it right? No. Is it human nature? Yeah.
Good article.
Truthfully though, not everyone gets along. It's just life. Not being among the most popular, or being bullied is no reason to bring a gun anywhere. I do think people shouldn't act the way they do towards other people, but we can only change ourselves.
I love this article. It really touched a vital issue.
I really wished people across the globe would read some of the articles on mibba.
Articles like this one would really get them thinking.
I'm just getting around to reading this but I don;t get why people think Marilyn is so bad.
He obviously knew there was some thing wrong there and said he would have listened istead of brushing it off or telling them some stupid shit.
I think that this artical was VERY well written and got to the point and had a very good point. =] ecuse my language though.
Dionysus, I don't see it either in my school. Like sure there are some kids that seem to think they're more popular or better than the rest but they're not like.. mean... to people.
Are there really a set of popular bullies in every high school?
Do kids really run in cliques?
I have never seen this, but I have heard about it a lot.
I always assumed it was a work of fiction.
Great article.
Kids really are horrible, and I'm sure all of us know that first-hand.
It takes a lot to torment someone to that extent.
Mason's statement was incredible, and completely true.
I watched that interview with Manson.
He's so wise. :O
It's scary to think stuff like this happens, but we all know, deep in our hearts it does. The problem is, no one pays attention or cares what they do. No kids think about the consequences, and it's resulting in certain destruction.
Maybe if everyone knew, we'd actually be at peace.
Maybe if people listened, we'd all be okay.
Oh well. One ear is out there at least. That's all I can say.
amazing article (:
i think its amazingly pathetic when newspapers blame musicians for shootings, instead of using them as scapegoats courtires should really be cracking down on gub laws instead. seriously!! and 11 year old and 13 year old with guns?! *shivers*
and like you said, if they made more of an effort to stamp out bullying (though most schools say they are, but never REALLY are) then things like this might not happen
