Thank you so much, Piccolo the Great!
Apparently, she is the only one who actually understands.
What kind of proof do you people want?
I didn't know the kid, personally, but he lived in my town,
and the story was all over.
And they're not rituals that the priest performed.
They were sacraments - physical signs given to us by Jesus
and passed down by Sacred Tradition - administered by him
through God. That's the Catholic belief.
And, like Piccolo said, I wasn't shoving anything anywhere.
You chose to read this article, you chose to comment it.
I simply wrote it down for people's leisure.

musical addict, there is no such thing as false hope.

I don't think that she was shoving anything down anyone's throat at all. This is a beautiful story, and I've heard many similar ones in my own life. Why is it so impossible for some people to believe in miracles? There are billions of trillions of things that we just can't understand through science, and that we will never, ever, ever be able to. Keep in mind, however, that God works through science as well.

There is no doubt in my mind that God is very much with this family.

The story is very nice but, it's probably not real.
Chances are it's fake or not completly real. Most likey the doctors did something to save the child. A few rituals cannot help a person recover.
This story is probably a hoax.
You can believe what you want, but don't push stories like this on people. Stories like this are almost never fully true or just not true. They rarely have any truth in them whatsoever. Pushing stories like this on people is not a good way to preach to others.

Of course doctors can never heal a thing. It's always our lord and savior! Smiley

Proof please. I'm pretty sure it's not possible for entire lost sections of the brain to grow back, but I suppose stranger things have happened.

Musical addict, the story said they were Catholics, not Evangelists. Just a little FYI.

It's a very lovely story, but I'd like to see proof of its authenticity. I've heard things like that, and sometimes they're made up.

Where did you hear this story?

all I can say say is this sounds like some evangelist tactic to try to get others to convert, I personally find this story quite shameful as there is no possibility of a child recovering fully, or to that extent simply by performing a few rituals over him. If someone wants to follow your religion I say go ahead, but these tactics are immoral giving people false hopes to something that is more or less.....impossible.
