gdfgds the Alanna series was my entire middle school career; it was so perfect and realistic in my opinion, and I just adored it. Tamora Pierce really puts great messages in her books over than just Girls rule, but she's still just entirely awesome XD

I love her books :D I was so pysched to finally find a fantasy book that had the girl as a hero. She's not the only one, for sure, but she's definitely one of the most well known/accesible.

Nice article :) Or profile, I guess.

I met her once, she came to my school when I was in the 6th grade. She was a very nice woman. She actually gave ma present. I had these rocks that when I had writers block I'd sit and rub my thumb across them for a little while (they were really smooth) and eventually I'd get an idea every time I'd do that. So I gave her a few, she went out and bought me a really pretty one in return.
