Also, the order in which you wrote it was slightly confusing - couldn't the part about the two doctors have come at the end, seeing as it was something that happened after the Count had died?
This was a really interesting article; however, I feel it could have been written with a little more precision and formality, particularly at the end, considering the content. For example, where did that quote at the end come from? I also feel that the last line was a little inappropriate, and certainly an anti-climax to such an interesting article.
Well done though - I'd never have heard about this had you not written about it! :)
I can understand the Count up to a certain point. I can feel why he needed to steal the body just to have the feeling that the woman was still alive, and not completely gone from him. It was kinda hard to see someone in love be able to deal with their love's dead body as they restore it to shape. But the one thing hardest to believe is having sex with her. Even if she may have possibly loved him in life, she wasn't alive to give him her consent. That was just a step out of line and disrespectful of the Count to do that to Elena's memory and her body, even if he did love her.
That's...creepy. I can't see that as romantic, because he committed necrophilia.
Visiting her grave is romantic-ish, but stealing her body and sleeping with it is most definitely not.
This is just wow. I've never even heard about this - I mean, the only thing I've ever really heard about men having sex with lifeless figures(?) are those men who buy the life size dolls. But this..this is just wow.
Nicely written article, especially the last sentences. :)
