To love someone else is to love yourself without doubting it.
Alot of people claim to be 'in love' when half the time
it's their hormones talking. Love (the real one) is slowly dying...
Love, is that thing that, when you're in a room full of people you don't know, make you gravitate to that person, whether or you mean to or whether or not you know them.
Love is the only word to discrbe a feeling that, no matter how hard we try, can't be discribed any other way, and still touch every individual feeling with just one word.
I wonder what the true definition of love is sometimes. There's all those different forms of it and sometimes it gets a bit confusing.
Do you romantically love your guy friend or is he just your friend who happens to be a boy?
Do you really love that person you've been dating for a while?
I humor myself a bit and sort of ignore the word altogether. Liking people is so much easier to define.
As a side note:
The strongest type of love I think exists in families. It's unconditional but that doesn't mean that you can't grow to hate your father or cousin or aunt.
Love cannot be described in thought or words.
it takes many forms such as affection to a sibling or a kiss of your lover
Love is pining for someone you know will never return the love or know about it
Love is always being there for a person when they need you
Love is a word with infinite possibilites
I'm not being picky, but you say here that platonic love is a love for someone if they buy you things, that's not the case. Platonic love is between friends, when there's no sexual feelings involved.
