This was a great article, very informative and easy to read. I love Billy Joel, I've always wanted to see him in concert but as of yet I never gotten the chance to. You also provided information about this artist I never knew, for instance sadly I never knew he was an alcoholic, or that he attempted suicide. I knew he's one of the best piano players but I didn't know he wrote concertos. He still the best at what he does and he just a wonderful songwriter. I love his greatest hits, his musical is fantastic and it will always be listened to. Thanks for such a great article, you have terrific writing skills

Much thanks! My favorite has always been And So It Goes. It was the same for me - my parents were the driving force behind my Billy Joel obsession. He was my first concert, too. Thanks again for taking the time to comment!

I thought this was a greatly written article. I'm quite a Billy Joel fan, as I've grown up listening to his music thanks to my parents. Of course, my favorite song is Piano Man.. but there's plenty of other songs worthy of mention. I'm glad someone took the time to write about him and his legacy!
