    Personally, I think this is a good thing. The speaker himself said that, even with the expenses issues, that things should stay the same. He thought that MP's should be able to continue claiming taxpayers money for their millions of houses and wimming pools. Also, if you watch yesterday's broadcast from the House of Commons, he had lost all control of the MP's and lost the respect of most of them. The House of Commons needs a speaker who demands respect, not a shambling man who can't even read a statement without tripping up.
