I think we should just stay out of space. We've already DESTROYED Earth, we could at least have the common courtesy to leave one thing natural and beautiful. Man kind will always be ignorant because of his creation, it makes no sense to dirty up the last real thing we have to gain "knowledge" (which is really just ego).

"Beyond this, I have to say pulling the plug from many of the rocket programs will not only result in the loss of thousands of jobs"
You have to think though, the money they cut from NASA will fund thousands of more jobs. Funding one job at NASA is incredibly expensive. I think I recall on the news one time that a basic NASA technicians salary and the money necessary to fund his projects could pay 20 construction workers in a year. I think in this economy, ya gotta cut somewhere.

Good use of quotes and experts, made your article stand out.

My state's economy is going to the toilet if this happens. I wonder if Kennedy would stay open- it's a beautiful, awesome place... but without the space stuff... I dunno.

my friend was talking about this but the way she put it she sayed that they were closing down NASA all together which shocked me deeply. But i'm still confused on exactly what is happening I don't think that Obama should do this I'm wondering what he plans on doing with the money hes taking away from NASA though
