If it at all creates a black hole it will instantly destroy because it has no fuel to live..but it is going to attempt to fuse particles which wouldn't result in that anyway.
That machine is not going to create black holes large enough to swallow earth. If it makes black holes they will be unstable and very tiny and will collapse in seconds.
Good. I don't support the HC anyway. This is pointless, and even though I don't live where this is taking place, I'm sure their money could go else where.
Besides, It's pretty tiring to hear all the hype about "THE WORLDS GOING TO END!" -_-
a 1 in 5 billion chance of there being a black hole created. even if there was one it would take years to be big enough to destroy the world so people really need to stop going on about how we're going to die by this.
its a great article except for the last bit. im sorry but its true
Fine article, but the inclusion of the last little bit (referring to the black holes) was completely unnecessary, and is just going to belittle the otherwise quality article you've written.
It's mind boggling how, despite scientific evidence to suggest otherwise, people can still believe this heanous fallacy.
A brief article, well written.
We are not going to die because the black hole will not do that to us. Black holes exist all the time, and I doubt the particles would be able to stay as a black hole for that long. Or supposedly......
The Hadron Collider will not destroy the World if it succeeds in creating a black hole =_=
Thousands of tiny black holes occur naturally everyday. There was no need to say "WE'RE NOT GUNNA DIE GAISE LOLOLOL" at the end of your article. The rest, however, was very good.
