Hoverboards: Science or Science Fiction? - Comments

I really loved reading your article. I have read the whole [i]Uglies[/i] series as well, and hoverboards are a huge part of their lives. I think that they are definitely in the future, and that we will have access to them. Maybe we'll even use that technology to make new cars. That would be really nifty. And that way people wouldn't die when they got run over!

I absolutely love the Back To The Future trilogy, and when watching Part II, I always hope our future will be like that, with hoverboards, flying cars, everything! Sadly, though, I can't see it happening in the near future. Prototypes may be experimented with, but I don't think we'll see the real thing. Maybe our grandchildren, but not us. Interesting read, though.

This was interesting to read, I found it to be very informative. I'm currently reading [i]Uglies[/i] by Scott Westerfield, and hoverboards are a big part of it. This helped me to see better how they would possibly work. =)
