I saw his dive- it was awesome. Bless him, the look on his face when he realised he had won was great! The guy is a fantastic diver, and his sexuality has nothing to do with it. Well done to him, and I hope he's at London 2012.

Congrats to him for being so open and as for NBC not showing his family, if that was because he is gay, shame on them. Of course it could just be a mistake. I hope that others will look up to him as an exapmle that no matter what sexuality you are, you can do anything (corny moment over)

His dive was incredible. I had no idea he was gay but it really doesn't matter. He's a great diver and that's all that matters =] And I agree it's great that he is comfortable with his sexuality. There is nothing wrong with being gay or bisexual...people who have a problem with it should shove it up their ass.

    That's so cute. :)
It makes me happy inside, to know that other people are comfortable with their sexuality in the world, even athletes. :)
He's definitely inspired me. I'll def have to check out his dive on youtube now!

I think that's fantastic that someone can be so openly comfortable about their sexuality.

There are so many teenagers/adults who are concerned that there is something 'wrong' with being gay/lesbain/bi-sexual so he could potentially be inspiring to others.
