Hostages Freed in Colombia - Comments

I am so glad that some of the kidnapped victims are safe and sound with their families and that they lasted over those long years!
I can't believe people would do that!

You know that surprisingly it wasnt all a gonvernment act. The videos are pretty convincing. Ingrid Betancourt is so gonna be the next president.

There have been people born in captivity and died there. I see changes happening. some very important Guerrilleros have died, and now this. President Alvaro Uribe is a marvelous person. My whole family cried when they heard the news. Hopefully in the years to come Colombia will be a much peaceful place. My family and I left Colombia because they threatened my dad, as he was a very important realtor at the time, and my family. I don't see myself living in Colombia because I already made my life here but I am very happy that my family over there will be safer. This rescue was a great military operation. A clean one which means no blood.
