    It's funny I just recieved an email from mum while I was reading this about this. HE really was a great man who stood up for what he believed in. It is because of people like him that we have the courage to speak out against regimes that may interfere with our basic rights as human beings.

    I was so sad to hear about this. Just last year in school, I read a prose poem by him and it was really touching. He was a great author.
