My mum's boyfriend's mum was in a camp. and she had a baby while she was in it, and they took it away.

He doesn't want to know what happened to it.

I still can't believe that we just let that genocide happen until it got out of hand.

depends what kind of the camp you mean...during war the majority of those camps was built on the territory of Poland after the Nazi took over... Auschwitz or Stutthof etc.

One of my friends actually went to one of those camps while she was in Germany. I don't remember the name of it, but it was the second most infamous camp next to Auschwitz. She said there was still blood on one of the walls.
I can't believe that human beings are capable of being that cruel. We actually just finished reading All But My Life in my English class and the things that happened to the people in those camps were horrible.

This topic always is so sad and makes me think how they could do such a thing... especially after reading books for classes about people there or how it was in Poland during WWII. The sight of the place just leaves you speechless. :/

Perhaps there were more things like that but it'd be hard to find it as the nazi tried to destroy any evidance of camps...
