Yeah, I agree. This is a really interesting article and definitely a good read, but I think they should just let him rest. I mean, I don't think this would really prove or disprove that theory, and I don't feel the theory is a big enough deal to go so far as to resume his body to try to prove or disprove it. I guess figuring out for his that it's him and possibly how he died would be a somewhat decent reason for some, but I don't see much of a reason to resume a body other than if it's needed to solve a murder case or something of that nature... Still, very interesting article.
even thought this articke is really intresting anad i really want to know...... but i think we should let the dead dude rest in peace. comeone he dead what more do you wan t from him.
BUT, I don't think anyone's going to allow his body to be exhumed just to see if his face matches some painting. It's his final resting place, leave it that way. It just seems too trivial to allow, really.
I agree. Why can't they just leave it be? It's been over 500 years. Sure, the Mona Lisa painting is amazing, but what does it matter if it was a portrait of himself in code language? Sheesh.
That's ridiculous. Does it even matter who sat for it, or if it was Leonardo da Vinci himself? No. It's just a painting. An old and particularly good painting, but a painting all the same. I HIGHLY doubt da Vinci would want people to exhume him just to figure that out, or even to figure out how he died. The COD thing is just another excuse to dig him up. We might as well exhume every person from that century to figure out how they died, eh? Or the famous people at least.
Jeez, respect for the dead, guys. Ever hear of it?
This is one of the dumbest things ever.
Good article, though. Very well written.
It would be really interesting to see in a documentary or something, I suppose.
But I think it's kind of wrong to exhume an artist just to prove a theory right or wrong.
