Loved reading this article. I've been fascinated with geishas for around ten years now. :)August 20th, 2013 at 10:06am

I really enjoyed reading this. It provided me with a new insight about the Geisha and it was formatted in a way that was easy for all readers to understand. I also agree, that it is a pity these long lived traditions are fading away.August 19th, 2013 at 09:27pm

Wow, that's a long time! It definitely is super interesting, though. Everything about it just fits what I know/have seen of Japan so well (though I guess that's a bit obvious since it's Japanese, hahaa). And anytime!August 11th, 2013 at 10:48am -
@ lungsmoke I am glad you liked the article. I have been doing research on the geisha culture for a good 6 years now and I think it's extremely interesting world. Oh, haha thank you. I didn't even notice!August 11th, 2013 at 10:41am

I like this article. I always find traditional Asian things (so I suppose "cultures" because it encompasses everything) so fascinating and it's so interesting to learn that it's super difficult. I was actually just watching geishas on television just now while they performed and they looked so graceful and everything looked incredibly easy.
One thing — she becomes a soon-t0-be apprentice — you wrote a zero instead of an "o".August 11th, 2013 at 07:00am -
Great article. I've seen and read Memoirs of a Geisha and did some research afterward and it is so interesting.August 11th, 2013 at 04:12am
