Ah jaysus, Americans celebrate the day better than we do.
But I must say 'tis a grand day to get drunk on.
Ireland sucks ass for festivals and we have a better vision of it when we're drinking the black stuff. haha

Yay! Chicago! The SouthSide Irish Parade was held a week earlier due to the whole holy week thing. I love the green river, it's pretty.

The first time I saw the Chicago river dying was this year. It was awesome. ^_^

After living out here for six years, it's kind of like initiation or something. xD I never felt right living near Chicago and never seeing the river turning green. It was extremely pretty. =)

I'm Catholic, and I don't mind it that much that it is during Holy Week. I don't really see the point of it however..
