BMI isn't strictly correct. It doesn't take into account muscle mass which is important as muscle weighs more than fat.

Living proof of this: I danced ballet, tap, freestyle, theatre craft and gym for 14 years (I'm 15, nearly 16) and I have very strong leg and arm muscles. I weigh more than other people my age because of my muscle mass and the BMI scale puts me at bordering overweight. I'm 5ft 6 and I'm a UK size 8.

Don't listen to the BMI, you're weight is about how you feel about yourself, not what some "clever" little test can label you with.

I've got a U.S. DD (42 inch) and a BMI of 24.3 with a 32" waist and 36" hips. You're perfect the way you are.

It's not right, you're correct there. However, I think that as those campaigns are aimed at much, much, MUCH larger people, you don't have to worry.

While it's completely for girls to worry about their weight, it's obvious from your measurements that you are far from fat!!!

Everyone could be thinner, it's true. But it's not always a matter of 'could we be' as it is 'should we be'. I bet if your friends were the same size as you it's not something you'd be focusing on as much. I know there's lots about it at the moment.

Sometimes I wish we could have lived in a different time. But then I remember we have the internet and gigs in this one so I let it slide.
You should check out my story - Skinny Jeans Have No Place On These Thighs - it's about a girl who worries about the way she looks. You might enjoy it = )
