Okay, I'll admit that I don't know what he plans to do with the money... I'll have to do a bit of research on that, but I do know that schools need reform more than money. I want someone to go into a public school and make sure they do what they need to do. Yeah, schools need money, but they also need people there to make sure that the money is being spent right. I wrote a journal about it a few days ago. I think it's the "Gah!" journal, if you're interested.

i don't think its all that bad taxing the rich, what i find wrong with it is what he's doing with that money. he's not giving it to help improve schools or roads or hospitals, hes giving it to other people. that is wrong. if i make some money i don't want someone telling me i have to give it to someone else. i earned it. they have no right.

that 95% he talks about who will be getting a tax cut, in actuality only 1 third of those people actually pay that tax. that means people who don't even pay that tax are going to be getting checks from the government when they never paid the tax in the first place. and that money will be coming out of other people's pockets.

to tax the weathly, just use thier money to improve roads, schools or something. don't just give it to other people who didn't earn it.

I was more talking about the heavy taxes- property tax, federal tax, etc.. When I worked full time during the summer, half of my paycheck would go to taxes. Sorry, I should've been more specific. ;)

I think it's fine for rich people to get taxed more. For years they've been getting tax breaks while the middle and lower classes have been taxed like crazy. I find it surprising that you feel everyone should be taxed the same way when your family is struggling. We don't give out the same grades in school- we shouldn't give out the same taxes, you know?

Besides, under Obama people making more than $250,000 yearly are the ones who will be taxed more. That's a lot of money. I mean, my parents combined make only $40,000 a year. I make under $9,000.

I also feel they shouldn't give tax cuts to just those who need it, just because someone has money doesn't mean they should be taxed more, lol... I feel everyone should have like the same taxes, but I can see that being controversal because of the really poor people... :/

I just hate seeing my parents struggle to keep our house, having to ask my grandpa for money, and then when we can we pay him back... I mean it's horrible, that's why I just wish my mom would lemme get a job and work school at the same time, I'm mature enough to handle it... *sigh*...

Actually I do, I pay for my gas... ^_^ I'm not a kid, I'm turning 18 June 16th, well I guess I am a kid lol... But not for long, and everything you pay for has taxes in it. When you buy your favorite candy, or soda at your school you're paying for taxes. When you buy a shirt at the mall, you're paying taxes. It's not just paying for electricity bills and stuff that you're paying taxes lol....

I don't want to be taxed more, we're already paying a shit load for gas and all that shinanigans, plus they're going to be taxing us for bags at the grocery stores of next year, and all that? LIKE WTF?! For reals, if they care about the people so much, then care about how we'll survive after all these taxes you're making us pay...

Have you noticed dude, you make a shit load of journals about Obama? lol...

And in a time where the economy needs experience to save it from total disaster, we've got McCain saying "The issue of economics is not something I’ve understood as well as I should. But don't worry--I've got Greenspan's book on it."

But as said below, Obama's trying to make sure employees have healthcare. So he's obviously the risky choice, economically.

Obama wants the big corporations to make sure it's employers have healthcare. That's not asking for much. We're not going to turn into communists.
