yeah I gues The Gunslinger (what an awesome username) and The Lovecraft (seriously, where do they get them? They're awesome usernames!) are right...in a way. I should read on that topic, but bahh I'm too lazy. But it really is interesting. I wonder how do they test them if they don't use animals....hmph. If anyone knows, lemme know.

The Gunslinger is sort of right. Would you rather test products directly on humans? Besides, they don't test the stuff on rare animals, pets or anything of the sort. the tests are done on lab rats and other lab-bred animals, which only get to live for tests.

i don't know much about it, but.. so.. the compaines who don't test on animals, how do they make sure thier products are safe?

this might be out there, but if someone gave me two options for something and company A said: "we didn't test on animals, so we're not sure if this could harm you or not." and company B said: "we tested this on animals, some bunnies died, but we figured out why they died and fixed it. this is guarenteed not to harm you."

i'd stick with company B. i'd feel safer

but like i said. i know nothing about this topic. its prolly not like that

i always make sure the bottle or whatever says it wasn't tested on animals, cuzz i'm a tiedye wearing, tofu eating hippie :)
