Writing versus Typing Stories - Comments

On to word than to mibba since 1 I want to save it and 2 I make a lot of bad typos. But sometimes I do, but the only one I've written on paper I don't want to post om mibba because it sucks.November 6th, 2008 at 01:13am

It depends on the story. If I know I'm gonna post it or I really like the story and want to write it during school or something I'll put it in a notebook then type it but if it's a story that'll I'll go to occasionally then it goes to Word.November 5th, 2008 at 02:14am

I type it, because I often don't have time to keep up with my stories when I write by hand. I do prefer writing by hand, however. It's slower, meaning that while you write your brain is giving you time to think, "Oh, hey, you know what would make this sentence sound better?" before you finish writing it, thus improving the quality of the writing as a whole.November 4th, 2008 at 11:37pm

I write mine out first, because then I have them where ever and when ever I need them. Then I type them up onto my computer and save it. That way I have it to post on Mibba and I can edit them however I want to after that.November 4th, 2008 at 11:32pm

It depends. For stories on Mibba, I type them directly on the stories chapter page and then I copy and save it on my computer. If it's a novel I'm writing for myself or work, I handwrite it all out. I consider than my first draft. Then, I go back and type it up on the computer, changing things as I go. That would be my second draft. It all really depends.November 4th, 2008 at 10:45pm

I usually type it on Word and then copy and paste it to Mibba. (:
However, it's a little more useful when I write it, because you're just sitting there in front of a blank piece of paper. Usually when I'm typing on the computer, I'm on different websites or Instant Messaging someone, which tends to distract me.
But yeah, I usually type on the computer because I'm a faster typer than writer. And I don't need to erase anything.November 4th, 2008 at 09:53pm -
I type mine on Word.
I find it really difficult to write generally, I can't even write in a straight line xD.
It's easier to correct spelling/ grammar mistakes or change something in the story if it's typed out.November 4th, 2008 at 09:44pm -
I type mine on notepad first, but I used to write them.November 4th, 2008 at 09:23pm

I just type it on word. Too many prying eyes to put them in notebooks that could be found. xDNovember 4th, 2008 at 09:20pm

I type, because my brain works faster than a pen.
But I have one story I pen methodically by hand, because I find it theraputic.

It depends. Sometimes I write it, other times I type it on Word. I never type it straight onto Mibba. I like to keep a notebook and write in it. In case I ever delete my stories on my computer, I can always look back on what I used to do.November 4th, 2008 at 09:06pm

I write it on paper first, then transfer it into Word (and save it) and then I post it as a chapter into Mibba. I stopped straight writing on Mibba the first time I lost a chapter.
For me, writing is easy on paper. I don't know why, but I get more ideas when I'm physically writing a story.November 4th, 2008 at 08:59pm
and i can't make a poem on paper.
i have to type it, or i just can't think. i dont know why, it just doesn't work for me.
