Well, I do drawing and coloring on the computer a lot, but it's easy for me 'cos using my tablet for me is an easy as using a pencil and paper, but... I use Photoshop... Not Painter. It does look like a pencil drawing though, I wouldn't have known if you hadn't said anything. It's good~ Good luck!

And yup, it's easier and quicker with pencil and pen.. I miss my pencils and my sketchbook....

Sorry, I've got no tips how to work with painter, I'm still on the hand-made artwork.
But to tell you, it does look like it's pencil drawn.

I think it looks very much like a pencil drawing. I thought it was until I scrolled down to the bottom.

I wish I could help you out, but I'm completely useless when it comes to computer related art. I barely made through my comp art classes. I prefer to hand-drawing and sketching. It's so much easier with a pen and pencil.
