Spinnerette isn't a solo project. It's another band. A fellow ex-Distiller is also in it, Tony Bevilacqua. If it was a solo project she'd be in it herself and the Distillers would still be together.
Kind of like Tim Armstrong has his solo project yet he's still in Rancid.
