    Surely when you said you didn't cut people just left it alone though. And if it was your friends saying that stuff, then maybe you're better off without them anyway.

    i lost some friends cause i wanted to act a certain way, which was unsucsessfull and becuase I called myself "emo" many people assumed I was a cutter and that I was searching for attention, so people started being jerks and I got mad.

    labels generally control our society, don't take it personally its just human nature. At my school I am "the hippie" I stopped taking offense because that label doesn't make me who I am, I make me who I am. You are who you are, not what society makes you out to be. Just be yourself, and don't worry about everyone else, their opinions don't matter!!!
