As for your actually problem I have the same one though more toned down. My best guyfriend is partly in love with me but to me he is just....my best guyfriend. Everyone can see it. My best girlfriend who has never even met him was like 'Okay Elle you need to do something. He is completely in love with you'.
I don't want to do anything 'cause it'll screw our friedship up!

Instead of talking about your title, ima try to actually help.
If he does ask you out, say you want time to think aout it. If he really likes you, he'll give you all the time you want. Then wait a while and maybe write a note, if you dont want to say it to his face, and say you just want to remain friends because you dont want anything to ruin your friendship with him.
