I don't mean to offend or anything, but what is this thing with parents not letting their kids go to concerts by themselves? I mean sure, if the concert's really far away 15-year-old can't get there easily on their own, but otherwise I think it's uncomfortable for both sides.
Where I live it's completely unheard of something like parents joining their teen kids to concerts. I know I'd hate for my mom to be anywhere near when I'm at a concert, where I do some of the things she least approves of in my behaviour.

As for the potential danger, I think a lot of it is overruled when one goes to concert with a group of friends. there's nothing better than a gang of say 10 of your best buds...

Am I being unreasonable or is this just a difference in the way parents think here and in other places? here being far off into Europe.

:) That sounds like you had an amazing time. Maybe we could start seeing more together!
The worst part about concerts is getting smashed and pushed around. I just push back and not let anyone past me. xD
