Honestly? I think she doesn't deserve to be compared to Anne Rice, but that's just my opinion.

I think it's ok to compare Meyer to Rice, because Rice has set a certain level of vampire fiction and all the new stuff will be compared to hers.

Stephenie Meyer is Stephenie Meyer, Anne Rice is Anne Rice.

I don't think people can compare other people with someone else. It's just unfair. I mean, every author in this world has their own skills and way of writing. Stephenie Meyer can't be another Anne Rice.

I'm not the biggest fan of Twilight series. I read the books and I enjoyed them. I also read other vampire books and I enjoyed them too.
