I'm an avid reader anyway, so I usually just read through my bad spell.

Oh, and sometimes being given a prompt helps. If you want to do something like that, join a contest. Preferably, my own. Smiley

I read too... but I haven't really found a cure... I like to listen to music but mainly try to hear the lyrics of story songs to give me ideas. I take their ideas & make them into my own or go a complete different direction.... I don't know those are just ideas.

That's interesting. I do the same thing, then when I finish writing for that period of time, I don’t feel like writing later : )

I get the same feeling, Bast.

    That sounds nice, Insanity's Artist. : ]

omg i have the exact same problems! only, to get back into writing for me (though it seems like a burden once you're doing it) i just start writing, then it gets interesting and i keep writing.

it's kinda like your mind thinks it doesnt want to write, but once you start you cant stop =D

I read also. It gives me inspiration, a sort of, "I want to be like this person when I grow up" feeling. It's weird. Happened the most notably with Faulkner.
