I think if they cut too deep it would be a real eye opener. They'd realize they would do anything to live.
But of course, what do I know? I'm a fairly well-adjusted person. I don't cut.July 14th, 2009 at 08:09am -
Maybe they'll have a breakthrough and realize that cutting doesn't really help much from the near-death experience.July 14th, 2009 at 08:05am

It would be a difficult thing to cut too deep. You'd feel it if you were going to deep. And also, most wrist-cutters cut across the wrist, which can be damaging, but is less likely to be fatal.
Either way, I think cutting is pretty stupid.July 14th, 2009 at 07:43am -
Oh my.
They'd definitely call for help. Because most kids who cut do it for attention. Note, I said most. But people who cut don't want to commit suicide. Cutting isn't trying to kill yourself, it's one way the body releases endorphins...like crying does.July 14th, 2009 at 07:40am -
hmm, well i dont cut and never will, but that's a good scenario lol you described it well xD and i would think that if anyone did that they'd care enough about themselves to try and fix the problem themselves, but if it didnt work they'd get their parents, just my opinion =]July 14th, 2009 at 07:37am

Most kids don't cut right, anyway, so I doubt it would matter.July 14th, 2009 at 07:35am
I would say something like an OD would be an easier accidental suicide than cutting... especially if you're someone on a lot of prescription drugs and that (personally how I believe Heath Ledger died... but that's just a theory of mine).
