    Yeah I listen to depressing music, screamo, love songs. It matters what I'm writing about. But yeah same for me.

    It always sounds great when I'm writting it, but when I look later... I just have to vommit. It's terrible!

    That's happened so many times to me! Especially with poems. Either they're really depressing, or really silly. Actually, the ones I look back on and hate are the depressing ones. The silly ones I always love. Who else writes songs about toothpaste?

    omg i'm not alone! I usually write better when i'm depressed or something is going on at the time, so it helps me get more into character.
    plus i agree with A.Broken.Mess because when i listen to depressing music it usually helps me use better details.
