i would reccomend The Host by Stephanie Meyer it isnt about sparkly vampire faeries thank god. but it wasnt really a half bad book. parasites that has taken over the human race and uses their bodies. you cant even tell unless you shine a light in their eyes...

Its not supernatural but it is one of my favorite books, Its called Paper Towns by John Green. Its freaking hilarious. Oh and if you have a strong stomach check out Peeps by Scott Westerfeld. Oh and one more the Blue Bloods series by Melissa De La Cruz. Hope I helped you out[:

I guess you seem to like the fantastical genre... I just finished a book called The Hunger Games and it was really very good. It's original fantasy, as I call it, meaning that it isn't about werewolves or vampires.

Don't worry 'bout it... I'm not a fan of Twilight either.

Lois Duncan books, (Locked In Time, Stranger With My Face) she is an absolute amazing author, it's sci-fi for people that don't do sci-fi.

Richelle Mead has two series, the Vampire Academy series and the Georgina Kincaid series. Vampire Academy is more of a teen read and is obviously about an academy for vampires. They're different types of vampires, though. The Georgina series is a little more mature and is about Georgina who is a succubus. There are other creatures involved, too.

The House of Night series by PC and Kristin Cast.
    It is truly awesome.

The Stolen By Alex Shearer. You might think it is a young book but I remember it being really good and the story was awesome :) and chilling. Some shapeshifting in it :)
