If I read one more story where suddenly *gasp* character is pregnant I will rip my hair out (not all of it though). Because seriously, it's the oldest plot in the book.

Yes, it can be done well, and I've read stories where it fits. But it's so rare that people just shouldn't bother.

It totally depends on the type of character they are. Smart ones use condoms (or ones who just don't wanna be a babymamma/babydaddy), and the idiots get too excited and just stick it in. Ugh. I like safe sex better. You get the nice steamy sex scene, and there's no picking up after it (ex: baby).

if writters wanna add drama to the story, really, find a better way then a cliche teen pregnancy (or at least make it interesting). sheesh!
