I really don't get the whole cell phone fad. In my opinion, it's kind of lame that kids can't get away from their cellphones long enough to pay attention in class. But no. They just have to text to their friends because they can't wait until they meet again to talk face to face. It's even worse when they say they'll "die" without their phone.
I'm sorry, but I'm sure everyone would be perfectly fine without a cell phone for a while. Golly, they might even learn something for the day.
I dunno. I don't mean to sound rude or preachy, but that's just me. Cell phones are not that serious.
I think cell phones are the most important. And anyone who says mp3 or Ipod can still use a cell phone as an mp3 player. I mostly use my cell phone as a clock. I'd never know what time it was without it. That's why it's super important to me... I could never leave the house without it. Because of the clock thing and I always fear that my car will break down right when I don't have my cell phone right next to me.
My cell phone have a kind of love-hate thing going on. When I need it, it's great, otherwise it sits in a corner all day being ignored and I basically carry it around just because I don't have a wrist watch. I really dislike always being able to be in contact, because most of the time, I just want that damn pressure of it to be gone(even if no one calls/texts), then other days I'll be completely fine with it.
Otherwise, I don't really have any idea of what a teens most important object is.
I don't have a phone, so I can obviously live without one. Anyone can, really. It's not that hard.
Two Dollar Bill: When I read the title, before opening the Journal, I thought it was going to be about Condoms, thruthfully. I was just too embarrassed to actually say it.
I think it's pathetic kids are soooo attached to a peice of lifeless technology. Ecspecially in school. It's so stupid, kids are always getting in trouble in my school for being retarded and texting during class. Is it REALLY that hard to wait till lunch?
