You know, the last paragraph of this...I felt sort of the same and they just opened my eyes and I owe them a lot. Green Day are the best :)

His father eventually died from cancer in September of 1982, when Billie Joe was only 10 years old. He later wrote a song called "Wake Me Up When September Ends That song just went off my stereo.
This was an absolutely amazing essay.

Awesome, couldn't agree more. Green Day really makes you realize who you really are, and I think they actually make you stronger as a being... Again,awesome essay ;D
