    Yes, there is a Hell.
It's a little town in Michigan.

TrueBass: Yes, god guides people through life but that's only if you're willing to listen. It's not in the literal sense but there are people/situations in your life that were put there to make you realize the difference between good and evil. It's not like god is guiding you 24/7, there are some decision that you have to make yourself (free will...). If you decide to turn away from god, then that's on you. Just...god isn't the only force out there that's guiding you.

I'm also struggling with keeping a strong faith in what I believe. I'm between a point of not caring at all and if I do have some sort of faith in me, that would also mean that I have lost all respect for my so called 'god' and I just hate him completely. :\

I have something to add to my previous comment:

Supposedly, God guides people through life, correct?

If the people that turn away from him are the people that end up in Hell, then hasn't he guided them away from himself, and thus towards Hell?

I know, I know, that's not how it's supposed to work. This is just something I've been considering a lot lately. I'm sort of a struggling Christian...

I think im going to have to agree with you.
but i also heard that there were only stages of heaven (how this information was found, i dont know :P) and if you are someone like that man, you would be on level one and if your Jesus or some shit, you'd be on level nine. and you have to try to work your way up.
But I totally want to read that book with that story in lol. What was it called?

Just a heads up; this is meant to be offensive, and I apologize if I come off that way.

Jesus was supposedly a selfless person, correct?

If Christians want to model themselves after Him, then why is the motivation for being religious and a good Christian so that YOU don't go to Hell?

Hell doesn't make much sense to me.

    I believe there's a hell.

I also believe that God doesn't want anyone to go to hell, that's why Jesus died. But if we choose to turn our backs on God we're choosing to not go to heaven. Because I believe that Earth is kind of like, the only place God and sin can co-exist and that's only possible because of Jesus dying.

But that's just what I believe as a Christian. But yeah.

The idea of hell scares the crap out of me.
