i absolutely love paramore. I think hayley williams is an amazing lead singer. Yes her voice doesnt sound great live, but not every lead singer is perfect at their voice. Hayley head bangs when she sings. I just read a comment that said her voice is ruined by her head banging.

Do you just want her to stand there threw out the whole concert doing nothing cause shes trying to make her voice picture perfect. She makes silly noises through out the concerts. shes making her own noise herself.

Their new CD is the best so far, and her voice sounds better.
Not that I didn't like her voice before. (:
Also, they officially added Taylor York, who played additional guitar. I thought that was cool.

And by the way, I thought Hot Mess wasn't as good as Viva La Cobra!
But they are nice when you need a cheery, pick-me-up kind of thing.

I like Paramore, but I hate her voice live. I've watched some videos when they're live, and her voice sucks, and you can barely hear her with all the head banging she does.

My friend's going to lend me Brand New Eyes, just to see if I'll like any of the songs. I mean, I like Brick By Boring Brick because I feel that she is singing in her proper pitch, so I want to see what the rest of the album is like.

I love her hair and her look.... but her voice live?? No. She doesn't even sound like the obviously studio edited version on the albums. I agree : /
I like a few of there songs, they have some talent but they aren't amazing, they caught my eye at first and now I hardly even listen to them. They're very....mainstream.

I'm near exhausted so I didn't read this entire thing... but YES! I can't stand them.

I like quite a few Paramore songs. And Hayley's voice isn't amazing, but it's better than a lot of other artist's voices out there.

I agree with the Paramore thing. Her voice really isn't that great. I don't get the big deal about them. Plus, she seems a little overrated to me. But whatevs.

It's just...exasperating, with them. They toured for a small while, got picked up by Wentz, then started touring in an amazing bus. Their music hasn't changed even a little bit since they began - they're not improving themselves at all, because they know they don't have to yet (or maybe at all, ever). I discussed this with a friend a while back, who agrees with me; they got their fame too soon, won awards too quickly, and while they may have deserved it at the time, it has done them no favors. Now they don't think they have any reason to work on getting better...so they won't.

Plus, the lead singer is horrid live; it's amazing, how much they edit her voice in-studio so she can sound like that on the CDs. That's not her voice, people! Normally I don't care about this; almost every singer ever has their voice edited in-studio, but in her case it doesn't even resemble her true voice, which in reality is much lower and somewhat hoarse when she tries to reach the high notes, so in this case it does kind of p*ss me off.

Plus, I mean, come on. Stop focusing on the redhead so much. There are other members in the band, too.

They have a few catchy songs that I enjoy, of course, but they're really going to have to start coming out with new songs (and by 'new' I mean 'not the same songs reworked into slightly new songs,' like usual) before they're really going to catch my attention any more.

... Not really. I'm all for 'your musical opinions are your own musicals opinions... so have them'. So I don't really care, but I do disagree. I usually like Paramore. I really liked Riot at least. It's not good for all the time, but I like it right now because I haven't listened to them in a few months. (I like Hot Mess, too... So eh, whatever.)
