    I would also like to point out that while MJ was a genius, he was also a man disturbed because of years of abuse from his insane father. You can't really trust him on matters of logic and science.

    Tons of people have predicted the end of the world, most of them are wrong. I mean, crap, the world was also supposed to end with Y2K and well, we all know how that turned out.

    What I seem to think is, theres an end to anything that has a beggining.

    What I do think is, we should really help the planet more, its messed up. Even if the end doesn't come, we should still...if the end comes, then it does.

    People believed the world would end on the millenium.
    Far as I know, no trains wrecked into buildings, no airplanes fell from the sky, and we're all still here.

    I don't believe it will happen, but if it does, it does.
    Sure, being terrified of death and the idea of dying one day soon, I will hyperventilate anytime I think it could actually happen, but I don't believe it will.

    I saw a commercial once and it said that the Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world. That is a total lie. The calendar says the end of one age is 2012, but there's also a start of a new age.

    Since when does everyone believe the Mayans, anyways?

    Basically, an important time period for the Mayans ends on that day.

    People just feel the need to always think the world is going to end. Everytime they've said it was going to end it wasn't. And if is, there's nothing we can do about it anyway.

    The Mayan calendar says it's the start of a NEW year and end of an old one. It doesn't say the world is going to end. So, I don't believe it.

    Hmm, I am also kinda on the fence about this one, but I'm almost on the side where I don't believe it's going to happen. I think every one is just panicking, much like swine flu. Every one was freaking out about it, but it's not really that big of a deal. :S
    I think the Mayans had other reasons for ending the calendar at that date, and I'm not that worried about the world ending. It's gonna happen sometime, to be honest. :P
