I got my 60 year old aunt into Green Day.
Music is music, it's for anyone to listen to; there isn't an age limit.
Plus, I wouldn't be embarassed if my dad rolled down the windows in his truck while going down the road and blasted Lady Gaga. Hell, I'd be in the passenger seat jamming out with my clam out xP,

    Agreed with Viral.

When my great-grandfather was still alive, he jammed to Good Charlotte and P!nk with me. Said he liked "my generation's" music a lot, because it "has spunk," hah.

    I agree with Viral.

I wasn't aware that you had to be a certain age to like certain types of music.

Well, my best friend's 56-year-old dad's favorite shows are Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody...And he loves all the songs that are on the radio. Lmao, I don't think it's a midlife crisis, as he's been that way for a while now...Plus, he lived in Italy for most of his life, and foreign countries are always usually behind on new trends, music, movies and TV shows, so I'm sure he's just, like, fascinated with all the new stuff.

I don't recall there ever being an age limit on music genres...
