This was really amazing. Like most people, i've tried to convey what i'm feeling, but this summarises it perfectly. It's still hard to believe, and i know it will always hurt just that little bit to know someone as individual as he was is no longer with is. He truly was one of a kind, and i think you captured that. Wherever he is, i hope he knows how much he touched peoples lives.

What you wrote was perfect and very well put. I've tried writing down what I feel, but it doesn't come across as well as this does. You've been able to capture how a lot of us are feeling.
It still doesn't seem real. Jimmy was well loved and will be missed greatly.

I was extremely pissed when some guy told me that Jimmy died. I told him not to lie to me, and I punched him in the stomach, true to my nature. When I found out that he had actually passed on, I felt so bad. Not because I punched some guy, but because Jimmy had died, I literally almost cried. He was an amazing drummer and he will always be remembered. You are have written exactly what I was feeling. Honestly, Jinx, well put. Bravo. =].

This is incredibly touching. You never cease to amaze me; truly one of the most skilled writers I've ever encountered on this site.

Can I make a recommendation? I know there's a few of them floating around, but there is one collection of Jimmy letters/journals that I've found are mature and well-done, and I think yours would complete them flawlessly.
