    I'm sorry, but I hate German. I think it sounds throaty and just yucky. Way too deep for me. I'm taking French in school and LOVING IT. Russian, Ukranian, Polish, and Romanian are languages I want to learn <3

    Yeah, Finnish is kinda difficult, even if you are a native speaker. (Though there are only four tenses, but 15 grammatical cases.) And about the syntax... It's confusing as can be. x}

    I can speak Swedish, English, Russian and Spanish and when I go to university I'm going to start studying Norwegian, Estonian, Sami, Japanese, Italian and French.

    Try Finnish for a hard language. I don't speak it, but then there's a good reason for that- over twenty different tenses, or so I hear, and a syntax that is nearly impossible for non-native speakers to get the hang of. I'm sure antichrist superstar can give you the dirt on that one.

    I only speak French and English, but I adore all the Scandinavian languages- probably only because they have that foreign mystique. ^^

    I like Dutch, mainly because that's what I am and can speak but it can be a lot like German really, just slightly softer. I like French but it was bum to learn :/ and I really like Native American languages - they're really awesome! And of course Italian and Spanish aren't too bad :)

    I hate German. D: It's really grating on the ears and always sounds like someone is hacking up phlegm.

    I'm taking French in school, and I like it. I also like Gaelic, Italian, and a lot of Native American languages. I'm not really a fan of how most Asian languages sound, unfortunately.

    Oh, and Thai too, I like a lot. The alphabet is beautiful. Reading some of the romanized words it looks kind of ugly... but I love hearing it spoken.

    I like Italian, I don't know how to speak it but it would be extremely easy for me to learn; it sounds alot like spanish. French too, I understand some words when I'm watching a french show, Italian too.

    Japanese sounds extremely cute. :3

    I hate German. Really, I do. Not because of the reasons your ex-Spanish teacher (because, really, not every German is a fascist) but simple because...I do not like. It's an ugly language, I think. Whereas, I love French. I've taken it for three years, so I guess I love it because it's what I know? I plan to go to France when I graduate. But I don't think it's a language for the romantics.

    My favourites are Italian and Greek.

    I hate German because of how harsh it sounds. My German friends always either sound like they're yelling, are angry, or insulting someone. Even when they say I love you, it sounds like an insult. It's just a harsh language.

    French is my favourite because of how beautifully it flows. Even when I swear in French it sounds pretty XD

    I picked up Polish for a story. Dedication totally. It's like the bizarrest sounding language I know and it's fond of slang phrases involving farts and talk of pooping in various places.

    I really like Catalan for some reason. I'm not sure how many people are familiar with that language, but it's really nice.

    I love Polish because not only is that the language I grew up with. It's fun to say and it has similar letters as Spanish so it's very nice sounding. I also love Spanish and, of course, I absolutely love the Japanese language cause it sound so cute.

    I like the Romance languages. I don't have a problem with French, though it seems really confusing to learn. I love Russian, and the accent. :)

    I also like Japanese, but not Chinese. Go figure.

    Basically, the only one I really really don't like is English, even though I speak it. It's just way to complicated, and it probably sounds really dumb to people who don't speak it.

    How old is your ex-Spanish teacher?

    If you like German, check out 'Philipp Poisel - wo fängt der himmel an', if you haven't heard it already. It's on youtube. Great video. He's like the Joshua Radin of Germany.

    I like German, simply because everything you say sounds angry.
    Japanese, my language of choice that I've studied for quite awhile, I love how it sounds, the grammar...
    Also Hungarian, because of my blood. I love how versatile it is, and just how it looks in general. And Korean, and Mandarin...

    I don' really like Vietnamese, because it sounds like your chewing something really loudly XD;;
