LEts see, if we escape for just a little while isnt necessarily running away. Its just taking a break from the problems that are driving us to this. I think everyone needs a break from all the tiring problems in life - and sometimes it can be deemed 'cowardly' but sometimes its just a well deserved break.
I do the exact same thing as you, I run to my music or start writing.
Sometimes running away is a simple, quick way to forget about everything, if just for a moment.
However it always bites me in the ass, and I never seem to learn.
