I personally find it rather disgusting for myself, I would never do it and I never read stories involving incest because to me it's just something I can't stomach.

But to people who are incestuous it is completely up to them, I don't know how they feel because I've never felt that way about my brother so I wouldn't be able to tell them it was wrong. If I had feelings for my brother and could understand and empathize it would be completely different - so whatever they do is up to them. I have no problem with it.

Okay, they were in love. They had a reason to stay together. Imagine finding out that your boyfriend/girlfriend that you love very much is your brother/sister and you never knew it. Now is that going to make you stop loving them? Is that going to make you forget the kisses that the two of you shared that made your heart race like it was in the NASCAR races? Is it going to make you forget all the sweet things that he/she did that made your face turn pink? Is it going to make you forget everything he/she did that made you smile like crazy?

I just really think that love cannot be wrong. It doesn't matter what shape or size it comes in. It's magical. It doesn't listen to laws. It doesn't listen to anything anyone says. And if it comes in the form of incest, so be it.

I wouldn't do it, because I personally don't love any of my siblings like that. But if someone else did it, I wouldn't mind a bit. But if it was purely for sexual gratification, I'd be pretty iffy about it.

I could never be with someone that was a part of my family, even if I didn't know that at the time that we got together.
I am, however, as an author very intrigued by the idea and I like to examine the psycholgicak aspect of it. I don't find reading it gross, I think calling it gross is a bit juvenile. I get if you think it's wrong though, I'm not saying that people who disagree with it are wrong.
I started to write one not too long ago but I haven't updated it in a while. I may, at some point in the far future, try to get it published.

Well, I totally wouldn't do it. But if other people do, I'm like all, "Whoa..." But I'm not really that grossed out by it. It's different, it's interesting. But I'm pretty much interested by anything rare or looked down upon xD Especially in stories; as long as it's not a stupid slash. It's no big deal to me.

Well there is a lot of incest I bet no one knows about. One its mostly banned because of the birth defects it has on the children.
Two, in ancient times that was the way to go. To keep the family's blood strong that is what they did. Marry family together.

I think its gross, up to a point. Brother sister, father mother, those should be off limits. There also things like the Oedipus Syndrome(sp?) and such. And a lot of cases about incest. Its just depends on how people react.

The writing of incest, I don't like it but its the authors choice. Some can write it and some can't. Love is love.

Incest is forbidden and abnormal to us as a society, therefore people are intrigued by it so they will always explore it in various forms of media. I, for one, have no qualms with incest stories (obviously) as long as they are done well. I'm far more interested in the emotional side to it and the reasons behind their bond rather than the sex, but that's just me. The whole finding out in the midst of sexual relationship that they're related is getting cliche in my opinion.

I really don't care if someone practices incest or not. It's they're right, or to love who they want. If it happens to be someone they're related to, then more power to them.

I tend to think about thses things with an open mind. As long as they're not having kids, who're they harming? No one. *shrugs*

I write about incest, my favorite story ever, is about incest. It doesn't bother me. I'm not saying I'd personally do it, but I don't care if someone else does.

I'm personally not in to it. But some people are just intrigued by that kind of thing. Although for that episode of CSI you mentioned, I would say the case is a bit different. You have to take in to account that they didn't know they were related at the time that they had sex; I'm not condoning anything, just saying.

v. Step-brothers and step-sisters aren't always blood related, therefore it wouldn't technically be incest because they don't share any genes at all.

I watched a CSI show one time where this brother and sister were adopted but they were having sex. Which, I thought was ewey, even if they aren't really related. It's just...agh. People who have the same genes just shouldn't have sex.
