Mibba Cliques? [And Some Off Topic Questions] - Comments

If you could create a holiday what would it be? National Mudkipz Day

Do you think there are Mibba cliques? Oh yee.

1. Kit-Kat bars ^_^
2. Christmas.
3. Free Hugs Day.
If you think about it, there are cliques.
-There's "n00bs". They're people that have just joined the site. They also haven't let go of "chat speak" and "randomness". (example: "ZOMG1!!!! U HAZZ MENTEALE ISSUEZZZZZZ!! LOLLOLZOLZ.!!!11" ...Yeah.)
-There are people who are "chill". They may have a few stories with subscribers and comments and what-not and a couple of friends.
-Lastly, there are people who are more "popular" on the site. They write their stories with lots of details and have plenty of subscribers and story comments. If they post a journal, they also get plenty more journal comments as well.
-Shrug- That's just my opinion though.

Yeah I do think there are cliques.

1. Twizzlers!
2. My birthday, August 13 :) especially this year since it's on a Friday.
3. Hug a random person day... oh wait that exists already, free hugs day. Uhm, I think eat all the chocolate you can find day. (I suck at making up holidays) ah... Starbucks appreciation day. Drink all the coffee you can! :D Yeah, I like that one.

As for the cliques thing, I have to agree with Jinxeh, Aelf and L Lawliet. on that.

The Walrus I'm all for a National No-School Day (possibly week). And teachers would not be allowed to give work for that week off.

Yeah - there are cliques but they aren't all mean. And they're always changing. It depends mostly on the moods the people are in and the opinions that they'll agree or disagree upon.

But still... there's no one and fast rule that says you can't be in any clique you want. Just saying =)

V Hockey writers is an awesome sub-group! Just sayin'.

I don't know of any cliques firsthand, but I do know I'm part of a huge hockey writing circle. If you could call that a clique, I don't know, but we all kind of migrated together and share mad love for hockey.

1. Snickers or Twix
2. Um... I like October 10th, because that's usually when the weather's perfect and hockey starts.
3. National No-School Day. (Or week, if that's allowed.)

4. I do think that there are cliques here on mibba but I also know that it's a website to read/write what you want and that's what people do.

Mibba cliques do exist, but they aren't that bad. In fact most are quite inviting. I think the whole "Mibba family" thing created the cliques.

If you created a holiday, what would it be? National sit on your ass day. It's pretty self explanatory.

There are cliques on mibba like that. Some people are just more comfortable with one section of this site and some grow closer with other members. Some do take it too far though, but most of the cliques are really nice and just... There... I guess.

1. Musk sticks.
2. The first day of university holidays, which is sadly now very far away.
3. MILF Appreciation Day! :D

I think that the cliques here are pretty fluid, because the internet is in a constant state of flux. There are certainly friendships, and there are groups of people who cross paths regularly (eg. journals), but it's hard to retain an exclusive social franchise on a public site. Most people on Mibba also seem to have a degree of maturity.

I prefer to think of my 'groups' here as more of an open party, so join in!

There are cliques. They're not as bad as some people make them out to be, but they're there. Really, though...it's natural for those to form. It's when the cliques actually start acting...cliquey...that things get annoying. Which has happened before, but...eh. You get a shitload of people together in one place, and you'll have that.
