I find it's pretty damned difficult to be inspired staring at a screen, so I get up. I walk around my house, or even go outside if I'm feeling especially un-lazy.

There's nothing like fresh stimulus to get the ideas flowing!

I forget about it. It usually comes back to me but if it doesn't I just say "what the heck..." and move on. Another idea will eventually pop up.

I listen to music...or just wait a day.
    Usually it's gone. :]

I've got this play-list I listen to every time I want to feel happy. It's this uplifting sound that makes me smile. I simply put my headphones in and go outside for a walk. When I return I lay and think about everything I've seen and inspiration usually just comes. Then there are times where it's hard to just write. I can't cure it every time but music usually helps - I usually write while listening to it.

Don't write until you feel the need, the idea for something. Works for me.
also I like to listen to an entire Avenged Sevenfold album. It lets me sing, smile, laugh and cry...get's me a fresh pallet of emotions.

I make myself herbal tea and try to be as calm and comfortable as possible. I rererad what I have previously written - anything I've ever written I mean.

Just find your happy place :) Stressing out about writers block makes it so much worse.

You don't have writer's block, nor do you have the jitters.

You're simply afraid of what it'll look like or sound like or read like.

    Just write.

Write an opening paragraph and don't worry about how it will read. You can always change things you don't like about it later.

Think about any characters. Smells. Tastes. The setting. Is it night or day? Is the main character a boy or a girl? Is the MC even human? Think about the relationships between characters. Are they having an argument? Is one about to knife the other? Is someone about to get it on?

Just think about these things to get you rolling...just write.

All you need is the first word.

    I don't write if I have writer's block.

I have a journal for when I want to write.

I listen to music, or go out and just listen to the random conversations of strangers I pass. Sometimes just a lyric or a word will give me an idea on how to start. Haha that sounds so creepy but it does help me a lot.
