Things happen. He made his decision and it's for the best. As much as I'll miss Bob, the world is definitely not coming to end. Just be glad My Chemical Romance isn't breaking up entirely.March 5th, 2010 at 09:33pm

Why would you break down? They're still making music. The music will still be the same. It's about the music, not the drummer.March 5th, 2010 at 08:14pm

They're not splitting up. They're not on their deathbeds. No need for a meltdown.March 5th, 2010 at 07:22pm
It's not like he died, so we have that to comfort us
The Rev's death was tragic, but Bob is still alive
My Chem is going to be very strange without Bob there, but they will carry on without him, they've lost and found a drummer before, they can do it again
What we need to remember is that they are still recording, so they haven't broken up
Personally I don't think Bob left on a bitter note, but it is still a major shame
Especially after they've already parted ways with Brian Schecter, who, to me, was possibly THE most kickass manager in the world
But we can find comfort in knowing that Gerard, Mikey, Frank and Ray are still going to carry on without Bob.
I think we should all respect their decision, and just wish Bob the best of luck in whatever he decides to do from now on
But yes, he will be missed, but if he left because of his wrists, then fair enough, he shouldn't have to be in pain, he shouldn't have to suffer.
