Write every day :). It doesn't have to be quality or of importance, it's just to kind of work out your writing kinks. I find that when I have writers block I make a point to write a couple paragraphs a day. It really just releases the tensions that make you unable to write. Also, just doodle down all your ideas and then mix and match them together. Usually something not bad will turn up out of it. Anyways, good luck!

Also, Milk was an amazing man. That movie is great :]

Sometimes just sitting down and writing a short paragraph that has nothing to do with your story helps. Try writing down your favorite memory, or taking a line from a movie and writing something around it. Sometimes you just need a warmup.

Also, I listen to music, or watch TV while I write. When I'm out with my friends I listen to fragments of other people's conversations and sometimes inspiration hits me rigth then and there.

Good luck =) And, sorry if these don't help at all.

When I have major writers block, I'll re-read the particular story I'm stuck on and then really think about what I'd like to happen next in the story and stuff. Usually I manage to squeeze out some fresh ideas, and can write. Hopefully it works for you too. =]

When I can't get any of my creative juices flowing, I try this little trick I learned from a writing lecture.

What you do is you situate yourself in a room with no distractions (i.e. a loud T.V., chatty friends/family members, etc.) and grab your paper and pen. Set a timer for about five minutes, and give yourself a word or idea for inspiration. What you do then is write full on for those five minutes about what comes to mind with that word/idea without lifting your pen off the paper. You can use "um"s and stuff like that, but you're not allowed to stop and look back at what you just wrote.

You just have to keep writing.

It may not be the greatest remedy, but it helps get me going when I feel particularly writer's-block-y. :} I hope this helps!

I've actually had horrible writer's block for a while. I just sort of take a step back from it all, and like Emi said listen to music, watch a movie I love.

I've done this a few times, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but just start randomly doodling different things onto paper. Maybe a few sentences you've got floating around in your head. A character's name even. Anything and everything. Song lyrics, the whole thing. Sometimes I can pick through the gibberish and find something worth writing.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing. But it comes in spurts, but then I get tired of it. You know? And then my inspiration just goes down.

I listen to music, I watch movies/TV for inspiration, I just, like, wait until something comes up. But you've had it for a year so I suppose you've done a lot of waiting already. :/

    Hmm...well good luck. :]
