You are not alone!! Happens to me all the time. That happened to me in march. I had an amazing story idea but as soon as I wrote it down on paper.... The idea just seemed blah...
I'm sure you'll be fine as an English major even if yoi are struggling for inspirtation because writing can be easy, do something you really like, or do something you did the last time a reallygreat idea hit you about anything, or just dosomething thats fun and inspiration is only moments away even if it feels like its hiding. :)
but really, you aren't alone.
