Honestly? The only stories that are worth reading to me are the ones that get recc'ed to me here on the journal section.

Mostly because I'm too lazy to go story surfing. Occasionally though, I find a good read. Its a fifty-fifty sort of thing.

Yeah, it's very hard to find good stories. But then, that's what makes them good. They're rare. You could try my favorites list on my profile. They're all original fiction. :)

I just posted like the exactly the same thing.
    I hadn't even read this.
    ANNO! WHAT YOU MEAN!
I have written a bunch on good successful stories without sex, slash or fan-fic.
    Go read my journal, yeah?

    Check out Lizard Kings's story.
I'm not really one for vampires, but it did suck me in...

In order to get some reading matter, I make a journal asking for people for their stories that fit the category I feel like reading at the time. I also read most of the stories that people recommend me. I've gotten a lot of good stories like that. I usually never check the stories section.

I don't read stuff on Mibba much anymore, for many of the reasons mentioned above. I'll read something by a friend sometimes, just to give them input. Or if I hear a lot about a story, I'll go check it out. But I haven't seen anything for a while that truly captures my interest.

    v. Original fictions can suck as well. And not all fanfics are the same or boring.

They do get rather boring. Always the same song and dance. That's why my stories are all original. No fan fics.

I have to say - I've enjoyed fanfic better than anything I've seen on here, no matter what ggenre. D:

I'm talking Star Wars, or something similar.

I don't ever go to the stories section and just look around. I read stories recommended to me or I read my friends stories. That's about it.

That's exactly why I rarely search for stories on Mibba. They're all the same. I like reading and writing love stories, but there has to be some murder or something. Mwa ha ha! And even being a bi person that's *cough* turned on by non-hetero stories, I'm still sick of it.

I've been meaning to write something electrifying. Don't worry I'm not a huge fan of anything you just listed either.
