    v Well I suppose you could track me down lol but what fun would that be? Anyway, I appreciate the warning, and as I said before, all my info on here is fake. (I always sign my name Michaela because I just really like that name.)

    v Somehow, I don't feel like I'm the one missing the point, here. But hey, take from this what you will. I've said my piece, my bit of warning, and that's all I can do I think.

    "Anyway, That wasn't the point of me writing this"

    I didn't mean that it's a good idea to give away personal info, or that you shouldn't be cautious.

    More or less what I was getting at is that not EVERYONE is out there to get you, even if some people are. You see a person walking down a street. They could or could not be a cerial killer. But you can't assume that everyone is, just that anyone could be.

    Not everyone is trying to kill/ kidnap/ stalk you. Only some people are :) Which is kinda a glass half empty/ glass half full thing.

    v Well, I got that point. But she also said "Honestly, how many of you reading this have the intention of tracking me down...etc," and I'm just saying, it can happen. It happened to me. Because of this very site. (Minus the "killing" part, of course.) You can never be too careful, on any website.

    I think everyone's missing the point slightly xD She's not saying that she thinks there's no problem with giving info out. She's just thanking us for caring.

    And, you're welcome =D

    Angela Martin.: The person who online-stalked me was a Mibbian, actually. Just goes to show...even on a "comfortable" site, you have to be careful.

    Jinxeh;
    Right on. People think that it just won't happen to them or something like that, but it can really happen to anyone. There are a lot of creepy people out there who have access to the internet just like we do, and their intentions aren't good at all.

    Just because most people aren't going to track you down doesn't mean someone won't. It's rare, but it happens. Personal information is just begging to be seen.

    But I do agree with what you said about the comforting thing, though. Mibba is an all-around nice place. I dare someone to try and find as cool, and caring of people as we have here.

    We may not know each other, we may not have a thing in common, but most of us are kind, compassionate people trying to help a fellow Mibbian out.

    Just for the record, all the info I put on the internet is fake. Except that I am a girl, which is true. So that narrows it down to... at least a billion?

    Electrical Goat: For serious. I myself an aware that I allow far too much personal information to be out there on the web, and it's barely even anything important anyway - but, at one point, it was enough for some psycho to use to track down my personal, real-life information via simple Internet search engines, and figure out where I worked, what town I was from, etc. (True, a lot of the information - my parents' street, their first names, things like that - wasn't correct, but some of it was somewhat close, and that was quite enough.) And all of that was found out just with my first name, and an old e-mail address. You can never be too careful.

    You're so sure of yourself.

    So sure, that you don't even notice that I'm creeping in your closet.

    Go check man, I don't lie. I'm here. Waiting. For you.

    I have every intention of killing you.

    ... Yep.

    I want to track you down and kill you.

    Totally kidding.
    (;

    But, you should be careful with what information you give out. No numbers, addresses, nothing. They're right in a way, maybe a bit overprotective, but right.

    You should be very careful about how much information you let out over the internet, especially when you're so young.
