just accept the jam session invite, try not to make too much out of it. It could be that he likes you, but you can ask him that later. He definately could like you, just ask him. It can't hurt anything. If he's a good friend, and he doesn't, he won't let it affect your friendship. Just don't rush anything or overdramatacise (sp?) anything. :)
